ive got a load of these kind of jackets and every one of them hangs straight down like a bin bag. this one actually has a shape to it. the seams down the front make all the difference.

read the note about it fitting close so i sized up and its perfect. fitted through the middle but i can still move my arms properly.

the finish on it is better than stuff ive paid triple for. seams are neat, zip runs smooth, nothing feels flimsy.

fit through the body is perfect, no notes. sleeves are a little long on my arms so the thumbholes sit a bit past where id want. still wear it constantly.

ordered it half expecting something thin and see through for the price. its not. it has a proper weight to it and holds its shape when you put it on.

im between a 10 and 12 and went 12. its lovely but honestly the 10 probably would have been fine, its stretchier than it looks. jacket itself is great.

normally these come down to my hips and look silly on me. the cropped length is spot on. sleeves are the right length too which never happens.

THE FOUNDER
Masy started altering her own dresses at fifteen, mostly out of frustration. The ones she wanted never came in the color she pictured, or fit right off the rack, so she'd take them in at the waist herself, re-hem them, make them work. By her twenties she had a wardrobe full of pieces nobody else owned, because she'd changed almost all of them. Volsa started at twenty seven, not as some big plan, more as an answer to a question she kept circling back to on weekends: why does it have to be this hard to just buy a dress that fits the way it's supposed to?
A handful of our dresses are still finished by hand, the small parts that are easy to get wrong on a machine, like hems and waist shaping. Not every piece, just the details that actually decide whether a dress sits right on you or just looks right in a photo.
